Kwasi Enin, a 17-year old Ghanaian-American bags the acceptance of all eight Ivy League Colleges in the United States; from Brown to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Penn, Cornell,
Dartmouth and Columbia, all holding a spot for the violist and aspiring
physician from William Floyd High School, Long Island.
An infrequent feat indeed, owing to the fact that most top students do not apply to all colleges, and even if they did, the acceptance rate into these schools are less than 10%. "By applying to all eight, I figured it would better
the chances of getting into one", a thrilled Kwasi told NY Times.
Ranking No. 11 in a class of 647 at William Floyd, Kwasi finds himself in the top 2%
of his class. His SAT score, at 2,250 out of 2,400 points, puts him in the 99th
percentile for African-American students.
A proud Kwasi and his family
The whizkid has a few months to decide which school to attend.
