They say "Pay back is a b-tch!", I never used to value that line until recently when Jay-Z subliminally made it known to Drake that he's mastered the art of revenge...a true gangster though!
Two weeks ago, Drake took some shots at Jay-Z for not showing up at Game 1 of Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets (which Jay heads). While Drake who was appointed the Raptors' brand Ambassador last September was present at the game, Jay -the man behind Brooklyn Nets- was nowhere in sight.
When Jay's absence was announced, Drizzy joked:
"He's somewhere eating a fondue plate"
A reverberating laughter to that!
But last night Jay-Z turned up for the game with his pretty wife, Beyoncé and a small bag of tricks. Lol. You can tell by the expression on the couple's face that they had a blast when their trick was tossed in the air.
We're moved to evaluate this prank at the Barclays Centre as a Jay-Z scheme. While Drake is rooting for the Raptors, a graphic imposition was employed in the arena, making him appear to be wearing a Brooklyn Nets jersey, and he got booed so bad! That's like spotting Jose Mourinho in a 'Walcott' jersey in a match against Arsenal, while rooting for Chelsea FC. It just don't connect!
To worsen the situation, a popular Jay-Z track was jammed up at the arena.
Jay's Brooklyn Nets eventually won Drizzy's Raptors in Game 7.
And Drake felt Jay's jab...
