Comedian Ay’s Movie ‘ 30 Days In Atlanta ‘Makes 76 Million Naira In Theatres Across Nigeria – HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE EVER IN NIGERIA
Comedian and actor, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY is rounding off 2014 with a bang as his movie, 30 Days In Atlanta has been announced as Nollywood’s Highest Grossing Cinema Movie of all time!According to Guy Bruce, the director, Silverbird Distribution Company and owners of the Silverbird Galleria,the movie grossed 76 Million Naira In 7weeks of showing on cinema screens across Nigeria.
The announcement was made yesterday at a special reception to celebrate the cast and crew of the movie and Guy Bruce said they are proud of AY and hope he does more movies. Some of the guests at the reception included,Ramsey Noah, Desmond Elliot, Julius Agwu and Okey Bakassi among others.
Meanwhile, below is a list of movies that have done well in the past at the cinemas according to box estimates provided by Uwem Jacobs, the West Africa Agent for United International Pictures, South Africa.

Queen Latifah CANCELLED
"The Queen Latifah Show" just got the ax. The show is
in its 2nd season and we're told production will be
coming to a halt. Our sources say the staff was
brought into an office Friday AM and given the news.
The honchos weren't specific but it's all about ratings
and cost.Queen Latifah just posted a note on her
Facebook page, saying to her staff, "Your dedication
and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the
face of intense challenges, you displayed 'True
Grit.!'"She ends by saying, "The most important thing in
life is that you wake up every single day and take
chances. No matter what the outcome ... believe in
yourself and continue to fly."

Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot visits BBA Hotshots House (See Photos)
Nollywood star, Desmond Elliot who’s running in the 2015 elections for a position in the House of Reps is currently in South Africa to promote something far removed from politics.
On Friday, he stormed the Big Brother Africa Hotshots house to promote ONE’s campaign on Ebola – ONE is one of the biggest non-profit charities in the world founded by superstar musician, Bono.
While in the house, Desmond did have some fun, shared acting and directing tips with housemates and ended up giving out his jacket to housemate JJ, his watch to Nigerian housemate Tayo while Ghana’s M’am Bea was given a necklace.
