It may seem like Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger are all about the party scene. But as it turns out, Hollywood's latest couple also puts a large priority on helping others. They proved it when they showed up to Brook Brother's shopping event benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Beverly Hills Saturday afternoon.
Although event organizers didn't know the twosome was attending, a source tells E! News they showed up around 5:30 p.m. to show their support for the worthy cause.
"They were holding hands and didn't want to take photos together," the insider revealed. "They were very nice and took photos with the DJ who is Oscar Adler." They also chatted with actress Joey King before leaving.
Schwarzenegger donned a white sweater and jeans while Cyrus dressed casual with a beanie and black jacket. Matthew Morrison, Rachel Zoe, Ashley Greene and Dan Bucatinsky were also spotted at the charity event.
The unexpected appearance comes at a busy time for the pair. As
Schwarzenegger wraps up his college finals this week at the University of Southern California, Cyrus is healing from a recent surgery.
On Friday, the "We Can't Stop" singer went to the doctor to remove a cyst from inside her wrist. A source confirmed that the 22-year-old is "doing fine" after Instagramming a serious of mysterious photos. Busy schedules aside, Cyrus and her main man have gone from "good friends" to one of Hollywood's most followed couples in just a matter of two months. Whether attending football games in Los Angeles or traveling together all the way to Miami, the twosome is going strong this holiday season.
"They might seem like an odd pairing, but they are quite good for each other," a source told E! News. "They've been friends forever."
