John Olumba, a Nigerian running for Detroit Mayor

John Olumba who is a 31-year old Nigerian is running for mayor of the city of Detroit in Michigan. He is a lawyer, an ordained pastor and he is currently a State of Michigan House Representative.

According to wikipedia, he is the first Nigerian elected to a state office in Michigan history. His dad is from Owerri in Imo State.
